With the widespread use of Computers, Computer Engineers can find employment in almosy any area of the industrial sector and in defense and research establishments.
They can work with national and multinational manufacturers of computers. Computer Engineers work with one of the most important office automation products-computers-in an expanding technological field.
Computer Engineers design the computer and its control systems (the hardware ) and also develop computer programmes ( the software).
They are constantly engaged in improving the end product and building the state of -the -art equipment -super computers, multimedia machines, graphic terminals, laser and inkjet printers, Pentium based machines, etc.
The development of systems software and software for scientific and industrial applications is an important component of the course, as also training in hardware development.
